Hi Guys, couple of newbies here. Myself and my dad are looking at getting started in hill climbs this year and currently on the search for something to use in the road going class, possibly a saxo or similar.

Just a couple of questions, other than the MSA license, hill climb membership and a club membership, overalls, helmet and a car with tax/mot, is there much else we need in order to start?

Also we are wanting to share a car but aren't too sure how the whole both of us doing runs thing works?

If anyone could help us out it would be greatly appreciated.

Glenn and Martin.

Guys
Welcome, you will need gloves as per the blue book check the helmets and suits are correct as per again the blue book. 2 drivers is not a problem you just double enter and at the likes of Fintray the first driver goes out, comes back in and the change over is done . The number you are give on the entry list in normally proceeded by a 7 ( class order 21) second driver 721
Hope this help.

Simple no problem, both enter the event, letting the secrety know of the double entry as asked on the form, You will be given a number with a prefix for the second driver which should be obscured by tape when not needed and during the event one runs at the beginning of the class, the drivers change (not forgetting to change the numbers !)
and the second driver fits in the queue with the advantage of warm tyres.
